The Conservatory of Music "Eduardo Martinez Torner" is located in the city of Oviedo, capital of Asturias.

In addition to the superior conservatory, Oviedo is the seat of two professional symphony orchestras, the Ospa and Osco. Additional youth orchestras (like the Jospa) and different organizations like the Association of friends of the Opera, the Filarmónica Society, or The Prince of Asturias Foundation, become the asset of the musical environment.
