Parents' Association
This Association is composed by a Managerial Meeting and all the parents who want to belong to it. It has the collaboration with the School as a main objective, in the school and out-of-school area, in all those activities that contribute to the development so much individually as group of the pupils of this School.
We understand that the four fundamental props on which the educational community settles itself are: teachers, pupils, families, neighborhoods, cities and villages where we develop our daily activity.
We claim the coexistence among teachers, pupils and parents for a better functioning of the School, creating an agreeable environment for all in which our children have the gratest opportunities to be formed as students and as persons.
We believe in a firm way that the integration of the parents in the School is fundamental for the good understanding in the community that we all form and that our children feel this environment of approximation and participation performs vital importance to feed in them the illusion and the interest for everything what could help to be prepared for the future.
We promote the development of extracurricular activities, some of them consolidated from several years.
We collaborate in the complementary activities organized by the School.
We take part in the Sócrates Grundtvig 2 project for parents, together with Cyprus, Holland, Poland and Turkey: "Strategies of the parents in the development of the citizens of the tomorrow in the European Union ", granted to this Association for the European Agency Sócrates. This project takes the adult training as a main aim.
