Healthy Body Healthy Mind

Can you spot the lies?

Although aging is a fact of life, nowadays there's a lot of pressure on us to look forever young and beautiful. Advertisements bombard us with magic skin treatments that will erase our wrinkles, shampoos and conditioners that will make our hair glossier and healthier, anti-cellulite treatments for firmer thighs and tummies… but is there any truth in all these promises?

You'll watch four adverts of beauty products. Three of them are misleading us into believing something which is not true while one is promising something that can be achieved by using the product. Can you spot the 'false promises'? Watch the videos and discuss in pairs what you think.
